1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of CloviLegal at clovilegal.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
CloviLegal is an AI-assisted legal operations platform. It lets you generate, edit, review (Clause DNA risk analysis), store, and electronically sign documents. eSignature is provided natively within CloviLegal.
3. AI-generated content
- Documents and reviews are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and may contain errors or omissions.
- Output is a draft for your review, not legal advice, and does not create an attorney–client relationship.
- You are responsible for reviewing, customizing, and validating any document before relying on it.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18+.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to generate unlawful content.
6. Plans, lifetime deals & billing
Paid plans, including lifetime deals (LTD) purchased via AppSumo, grant access to the features and usage limits of the tier purchased. AI features are subject to per-tier usage limits (e.g., document, review, and signature allowances). Lifetime access means access for the lifetime of the Service.
7. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. AppSumo purchases are covered by AppSumo's 60-day money-back guarantee.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of documents and data you create or upload. You grant CloviLegal a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service (including sending them to our AI sub-processors to generate/review documents).
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, and templates are owned by CloviTek LLC. You may use generated documents for your own business and clients.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloviTek LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service. See the Legal & AI Disclaimer.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may export your documents before deletion.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
