This Policy explains how CloviLegal (clovilegal.com) collects, uses, and protects your information.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), plan/tier.
- Content: documents you create, upload, generate, or sign, plus related metadata.
- Usage data: feature usage, logs, device/browser info, IP address.
- Purchase data: for LTD purchases, a license identifier from AppSumo (we do not receive your card details).
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: generate, review, store, and sign documents.
- To enforce plan limits, secure accounts, and provide support.
- To improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.
3. AI processing
To generate and review documents, content is sent to our AI sub-processor (Anthropic) for processing. It is used to return your result and is not used to train third-party models.
4. Sub-processors
We use the third-party providers listed in our Sub-processor list to host, secure, email, and power the Service.
5. Data retention & deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete documents at any time and request full account deletion; backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
6. Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact [email protected].

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method is 100% secure.
